Seedball

Seedball Wildflower Seed Tins - Bee Mix

£6.50

Introducing Seedball - an easy way to fill your garden, balcony or plant pots with beautiful wildflowers! Each seedball contains 30-100 wildflower seeds along with peat-free compost for nutrition, chilli powder to deter slugs and snails and a clay outer layer to protect the seeds from predators. Simply scatter the balls onto bare soil or compost, water and watch as your beautiful flowers grow, creating your very own mini garden or nature reserve!

This bee-friendly mix contains a beautiful collection of native wildflowers designed to attract solitary bees, honeybees and bumblebees, as recommended by Bumblee Conservation Trust. Each seed ball contains approximately 30 seeds from a mix of bee-friendly Birdsfoot Trefoil, Foxglove, Red Clover, Viper’s Bugloss and Wild Marjoram. Plus, a sprinkling of pollinator-friendly annuals Chamomile, Cornflower, Corn marigold, and Night-flowering catchfly.

Seedballs make the perfect gift for everyone, from avid gardeners to newbies who just love nature and beautiful flowers.

EARTH FRIENDLY VALUES

I love that Seedballs only use native flowers and all seeds are responsibly sourced in the UK from Flora Locale accredited suppliers. They only ever use peat-free compost, protecting the UK's peat bogs which are a vital habitat and important carbon sink for our environment. Even the steel tins are manufactured in London (with the help of a solar farm on the factory roof)!

MORE INFO

Contains: Each tin of Bee Mix contains 20 seed balls, enough to cover 1 metre square in a garden bed or 3-5 medium sized pots (leave at least 10cm between each ball). Best scattered in Spring or Autumn.

How to use: Throw onto soil or compost in a garden bed or planter in Spring or Autumn, leaving at least 10cm between each ball. Your Seedball has everything it needs to grow and, once the ball becomes moist and the temperature is right, your seeds will germinate!
